Privacy policy
FinishTrace is designed to work offline. The developer does not collect data from the app.
Information stored on your device
FinishTrace stores the projects, sample codes, variation links, titles, substrates, preparation, finish-layer schedules, optional structured recipe coverage, units and ratio components, notes, observations, verdicts, approvals, dates, and calculator blocks that you choose to save in the app's local storage on your iPhone. QR labels and reproduction specifications are generated on-device from those records.
If you select a photo through Apple's PhotosPicker, FinishTrace creates a resized JPEG copy and stores that copy with the local record. FinishTrace does not ask for broad access to the photo library.
Purchase information
FinishTrace may offer a one-time lifetime Pro purchase. Apple processes the purchase and any account or payment authentication. The developer does not receive Apple Account credentials or payment details. Purchase entitlement is separate from FinishTrace records.
Data collection and tracking
FinishTrace has no account, developer-operated backend or cloud sync, advertising, third-party analytics, tracking, or app-owned network service. The developer does not receive records or photos, and the app does not track people across apps or websites. Optional Support, Privacy Policy and Terms controls open this public website in the user's browser.
Website hosting and support
This public website is delivered by a hosting provider that may process technical request information, such as an IP address, request headers, time, and security signals, and may set a strictly necessary security cookie to deliver and protect the site. Trest Line OÜ does not add website analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, accounts, or contact forms.
If you email support, you choose to provide the message and return address. The message is handled by the email provider and retained only as needed to respond, maintain support history, or meet legal obligations. Do not send passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal information.
Sharing
You may choose to share a sample label link, plain-text summary, or reproduction PDF through the iOS share sheet. The service or person you select then handles that information under its own terms and privacy practices. FinishTrace does not send it automatically.
Retention and deletion
Records remain in the app's local container until you delete a sample or remove the app. Removing FinishTrace removes its local records. FinishTrace does not provide its own cloud backup or account recovery. Apple may process FinishTrace data as part of system device backup according to device and iCloud backup settings. Share any record you need before uninstalling.
Children
FinishTrace is a general productivity tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other user.
Changes
This policy will be updated before a release that changes collection, tracking, network, account, advertising, analytics, third-party SDK, or storage behavior.
