Terms of use
These terms describe the boundaries of the FinishTrace website and iPhone app.
Purpose
FinishTrace helps people record, compare, approve, and reproduce their own physical finish samples. The calculator produces an arithmetic estimate only from assumptions the user enters; it does not determine actual coverage.
Not professional or safety advice
FinishTrace does not verify product chemistry, compatibility, curing, ventilation, hazards, legal compliance, or fitness for a particular purpose. Users must follow product labels, manufacturer instructions, safety data, and applicable rules.
Your records and device
FinishTrace 1.0 stores app records locally. Users are responsible for retaining any external copy they need before deleting the app, replacing a device, or changing a production bundle identity. FinishTrace does not promise developer-operated backup or recovery.
Purchases
A lifetime Pro unlock, if offered, is a non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple. The localized price and transaction terms shown by the App Store control. Restorable purchases can be synchronized through the explicit Restore Purchases action.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the website or app, attempt to interfere with their operation, or use them to violate another person's rights or applicable law.
Apple terms
Apple's standard End User License Agreement applies to the iPhone app unless App Store Connect displays a different approved agreement. These website terms supplement, and do not replace, Apple's applicable terms.
